Job Overview:
To efficiently manage and coordinate all travel-related requirements of the organization, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and seamless travel arrangements for employees while maintaining strong vendor relationships and adherence to company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage end-to-end travel desk operations.
Handle domestic and international ticket bookings (air, rail, and bus).
Coordinate hotel bookings for employees traveling on business.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors for all travel arrangements.
Plan and execute travel logistics for seminars, trainings, conferences, and company events.
Develop and maintain a strong network of travel vendors (ticketing, hotels, cab services) and negotiate competitive rates.
Ensure cost optimization and adherence to travel policies.
Maintain travel records, logs, and documentation.
Verify and process travel-related expenses and coordinate with the accounts team for timely submission.
Prepare and share MIS reports related to travel and expenses.
Job requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in travel desk or travel coordination roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
Commercial awareness with a focus on cost optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the travel industry.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
