Job Overview:

To efficiently manage and coordinate all travel-related requirements of the organization, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and seamless travel arrangements for employees while maintaining strong vendor relationships and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage end-to-end travel desk operations.

  • Handle domestic and international ticket bookings (air, rail, and bus).

  • Coordinate hotel bookings for employees traveling on business.

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors for all travel arrangements.

  • Plan and execute travel logistics for seminars, trainings, conferences, and company events.

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of travel vendors (ticketing, hotels, cab services) and negotiate competitive rates.

  • Ensure cost optimization and adherence to travel policies.

  • Maintain travel records, logs, and documentation.

  • Verify and process travel-related expenses and coordinate with the accounts team for timely submission.

  • Prepare and share MIS reports related to travel and expenses.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in travel desk or travel coordination roles.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good negotiation and vendor management capabilities.

  • Commercial awareness with a focus on cost optimization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the travel industry.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
