Job Overview: KC Overseas is looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager to establish and manage its Physical Record Management Services vertical at its state-of-the-art facility in MIHAN, Nagpur. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who has successfully built similar service lines from scratch and possesses deep knowledge of industry standards, compliance requirements, and accreditation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Establishment and Compliance
Develop the Physical Record Management Services vertical from the ground up, including designing operational workflows and defining service offerings.
Ensure that all operations and processes comply with relevant industry regulations, data security norms, and best practices.
Obtain necessary accreditations and certifications as well as regulatory approvals, to establish the vertical as a trusted service provider.
Client Acquisition and Business Development
Identify, target, and secure clients for the physical record management services, highlighting the facility's capabilities and advantages.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of professionalism and efficiency.
Develop and execute strategic plans to scale the service line and enhance its market presence.
Operational Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring efficiency, security, and adherence to client SLAs.
Source, evaluate, and implement software solutions to support and streamline record management operations, including inventory management, retrieval processes, and reporting systems.
Recruit, train, and lead a dedicated team to ensure smooth operations and excellent client service.
Strategic Planning and Innovation
Develop a roadmap for growth, identifying opportunities to expand service offerings and incorporate advanced technologies.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations to continuously improve service delivery and operational standards.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business management, information management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in physical record management, with a proven track record of building and scaling service lines from scratch.
Leadership and management skills to oversee teams providing physical record management services.
In-depth knowledge of record retention policies, compliance standards, and industry best practices (such as ISO 15489).
Expertise in organizing and categorizing physical records for easy access and retrieval.
Strong communication skills to interact with internal teams and possibly external clients.
Ability to implement and oversee secure processes for the transport, storage, and destruction of physical records.
