Job Overview:

The Lead – PMS will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization’s Performance Management System. This role is focused on ensuring that KRAs/KPIs and OKRs are effectively aligned with business goals, review cycles are completed on time, and employees receive the support required for performance excellence. The position is an individual contributor role, requiring close collaboration with HR, Business Units, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Management

  • Coordinate with Business Unit teams to assign KRAs/KPIs at the start of each intake cycle and update them as per role changes or transfers.

  • Lead the end-to-end management of performance review cycles across Tech and Non-Tech functions.

  • Administer the PMS platform (Qandle) including data updates, review cycle execution, subscriptions, and invoices.

  • Design and implement frameworks for annual performance appraisals.

  • Provide prompt resolution to employee, Manager, and BU head queries related to PMS.

New Joiner Performance Alignment

  • Create and roll out KRAs/KPIs for new joiners within the defined timelines.

  • Conduct induction sessions (PMS, Keka Training, Qandle Overview) for specific new joiners, including senior hires.

OKR Implementation

  • Plan and implement the OKR Dashboard for Team Leaders and above.

  • Track periodic check-ins of Key Results and prepare monthly analysis reports for BU Heads and the CEO.

  • Drive adoption of the OKR tool across eligible teams.

HR Policies & Documentation

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR policies in line with organizational requirements.

  • Prepare and maintain Work Responsibility (WR) documents for new roles, ensuring approvals prior to hiring.

  • Maintain updated Trackers, KRA Databases, and organizational charts for all departments.

Process Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to SLAs for assigning KRAs and WRs.

  • Maintain quality and accuracy in all HR documentation.

  • Support periodic reconciliations of trackers and ensure compliance with performance timelines.

Job requirements

Skills & Competencies 

  • Strong understanding of Performance Management Systems and HR processes. 

  • Proficiency in HR platforms (Qandle, Keka, or equivalent). 

  • Analytical and process-driven approach with strong attention to detail. 

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

  • Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 

  • 5–6 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on Performance Management. 

  • Experience in PMS/OKR frameworks and HR policy drafting. 

  • Strong knowledge of HRMS/PMS platforms.
