Roles and Responsibilities: - 

  • Set the vision for how technology will be used by the customers and stakeholders. Should be inspirational and growth-hungry to create dynamic tech roadmaps.
  • Ability to scale Tech in line with rapid business growth. Ensure that the technological resources meet Coursefinder.ai’s short and long-term needs.
  • Build Trust within the Team as well as the management that will enable a mutually successful journey for both the individual and the company.
  • Ownership for delivery is crucial, along with adhering to discussed timelines.
  • Hands-on and ability to work with the team at a granular level in critical junctures.
  • A good people manager and a talent magnet who can hire, build, and grow a stellar engineering team.
  • Should have B2B2C experience and business acumen; data analytics and product exposure is a huge plus.Focus on feature richness in alignment with the use cases of the end user.
  • Take ownership for problems and deliver high-quality solutions consistently.
  • Apply agile development principles to build organised and versatile code.
  • Implement Test / Behaviour driven development.
  • Create modern architecture to deliver high-quality and scalable services.
  • Have a passion for cloud and various innovative technologies.
  • Collaborate with other teams to successfully use company’s CI/CD pipeline to increase the velocity and robustness of feature deployments.
  • Document and test code to ensure that the quality of completed work meets requirements.
  • Avoid cumbersome solutions through diligent research, experimentation, and testing.
  • Design enhancements to improve efficiency and streamline business and development processes.
  • Self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player.
  • Should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Job requirements

  • Ideal candidate to be 7-8 years of experience
  • Preferably from a product start-up
  • Hands-on experience in Node and React preferred
  • Experience in code reviews and design reviews
  • Should have been an EM for 1-2 years
  • Should have done at least 2 review cycles
  • Should have promoted people, done appraisals, let non-performers go etc.
  • Should have seen scale
  • Good stakeholder management
  • Will manage a team of 3-4 engineers
