Job Summary: The creative copywriter is responsible for developing and creating original and innovative Ad copy, marketing communication and marketing content that effectively communicates the brand's message, engages the target audience, and drives action and sales as a result. This includes creating copy for a variety of platforms such as social media, email marketing, website content, video advertising, marketing campaigns, print media, magazines, and publications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create compelling headlines, taglines, slogans, jingles, lyrics, monologues and dialogues to attract and retain the target audience's attention.
· Develop and write clear, concise, and engaging copy for various Social Media marketing channels Like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter.
· Develop and write engaging content for other marketing channels like Print, Outdoor, Email Marketing, WhatsApp marketing, Website, Landing pages, Reels etc
· Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the ongoing and upcoming campaigns, the target audience profile and the key focus areas, to create and execute effective copy and content strategy.
· Work with inhouse designers and other stakeholders to ensure copy and visuals work together seamlessly.
· Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
· Ensure all copy adheres to the brand's voice, tone, and style guidelines.
· To track and evaluate the performance of different copy used on creatives so that the messaging can be optimized
· To continuously monitor the performance of existing creatives and optimize wherever necessary
· Update Website Content as per the trends and incorporate relevant keywords as per SEO requirements
· Brainstorming innovative and creative ideas for YouTube videos and Instagram Reels.
· Refreshing the existing creatives based on learnings/ feedback and inputs from marketing team.
· Continuously contribute new ideas to improve the brand's marketing efforts.
· Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Job requirements
Skills & Qualification:
· Bachelor's degree or Master’s in English, Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an AD agency /marketing team/ content team /newspaper/magazine/publication editorial team.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in writing for a variety of platforms and channels.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit content accurately.
· Creative thinking, creative writing, and ability to think outside the box.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other writing software.
· Some experience or knowledge of Digital Marketing & Social Media Marketing Channels.
· Experience in the education industry is a plus.
· Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
