Job description
Job Summary:
We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager – Accounts Payable to ensure that our Company's bills and invoices are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with financial policies and regulations. This position requires a highly detail-oriented professional with a strong financial acumen, and the ability to ensure the efficient processing of financial transactions while maintaining strong relationships with Channel partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Checking of Commission note for amount payable to Channel Partners for accuracy and ensure timely processing of invoices of channel partners and payment transactions.
Ensure proper documentation of all reference points from various contracts, that are referred to for making commission payouts. Review these documents periodically for updation.
Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures within the accounts payable function.
Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable specialists, providing guidance and support.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key Channel partners
Address and resolve Channel partners’ inquiries and discrepancies promptly.
Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency improvements.
Streamline accounts payable workflows to enhance productivity.
Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
Generate Accounts payable reports periodically for management review.
Provide insights and recommendations for financial decision-making.
Collaborate with all BUs, to ensure seamless processes.
Participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce
Proven experience of 4-6 years in Accounts payable.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Effective communication skills for external / internal interactions.
Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
