Job Summary:

We are looking to hire an Assistant Manager – Accounts Payable to ensure that our Company's bills and invoices are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with financial policies and regulations. This position requires a highly detail-oriented professional with a strong financial acumen, and the ability to ensure the efficient processing of financial transactions while maintaining strong relationships with Channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Checking of Commission note for amount payable to Channel Partners for accuracy and ensure timely processing of invoices of channel partners and payment transactions.

  • Ensure proper documentation of all reference points from various contracts, that are referred to for making commission payouts. Review these documents periodically for updation.

  • Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures within the accounts payable function.

  • Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable specialists, providing guidance and support.

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key Channel partners

  • Address and resolve Channel partners’ inquiries and discrepancies promptly.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency improvements.

  • Streamline accounts payable workflows to enhance productivity.

  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.

  • Generate Accounts payable reports periodically for management review.

  • Provide insights and recommendations for financial decision-making.

  • Collaborate with all BUs, to ensure seamless processes.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects as needed.

Job requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in commerce

Proven experience of 4-6 years in Accounts payable.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Effective communication skills for external / internal interactions.

Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.
